unfettered
The grapes near us are finally turning. Just last week they were tiny opaque green nuggets. People tell me they’re several weeks behind normal this year, thanks to a very rainy spring and a cool summer; the fog doesn’t burn off until about 10am most days. Further down in the valley it lasts until noon and nothing’s even slightly purple yet.
