I’ve been drawing postcards of all the animals that visit our yard for Kepler and Phoenix (4.5 y.o. niece & 3 y.o. nephew). This scraggly mini-coyote was the first. We named him Enzo.

The grapes near us are finally turning. Just last week they were tiny opaque green nuggets. People tell me they’re several weeks behind normal this year, thanks to a very rainy spring and a cool summer; the fog doesn’t burn off until about 10am most days. Further down in the valley it lasts until noon and nothing’s even slightly purple yet.
